Paytm Marketplace

Believe it or not, this site has the ability and potential to challenge billion dollar e-commerce sites such as Flipkart and Amazon.

This is purely from my experience.

I have brought a total of 8 items from Paytm. Out of which I returned one of them, and am planning to exchange one more item, due to lack of quality of the product.

The shopping experience is mind-blowing on both the website as well as app. However, to check the reviews of a particular product, you need to search it on google as there is no ‘customers review’ option there.

Another benefit, is the cashback offers. They give an extra 50% cash back which you can use to pay for recharges ,bills and enormous number of activities !

The returns are also good enough, If you return back a product in morning, you are most likely to get back the full refund within the afternoon of the same day (which is amazing).

The customer support is superb, although they ask for 48 hours to respond to queries, in my case, they have responded in less than 5 hours, more than 80% of the time I have any doubts of shopping.

Overall , this marketplace is amazing and trustworthy. You must check this out.

indiatimes shopping

In January 2015, there was an offer of IndiaTimes Shopping ( shopping.indiatimes.com ) and paytm wallet of getting 50% cashback on any order. Me being a 12th grader, had ordered 2 books (15 Sample Question Papers) of Business Studies and Accountancy. There was a very minimum option of choice, since most of the important books were neither listed and out of those which were listed 80% of the books were out of stock. I had only one option of going with Arihant Publications, which in my opinion was a fair deal. The delivery was timely, yet very slow. It took 7 full days for a book to reach Hyderabad from Haryana. However, I had purchased such a deal which was worth waiting. So no other problems.

#eXperience 02 : Amazon

It was the time when Chetan Bhagat’s well-known book was released. (first week of October ) and the Diwali Dhamaka Sale was going on Amazon , when I purchased ‘ Half Girlfriend ‘ at ₹ 99 against an M.R.P. of  ₹ 176 .

Initially when I tried to place the order , the book went out of stock at the sale price. After waiting for another 2 days , the book finally was in-stock at the sale  price of ₹ 99. I ordered it this time , very quickly. The delivery was fast , and I learnt a new way of signing on the phone because when you buy anything from Amazon , you have to sign on the phone rather on paper as seen in other e-commerce deliveries. Everything was smooth and fluid. Loved it.

It had been a long time , since my dad wanted a smartphone. And it turned out that Motorola was planning to launch a smartphone named Moto G. I checked the features of the phone and loved it after I knew the exceptional price.At that time , it was one of the best ‘ Value for money ‘ smartphone and had won many awards by various technology bloggers and journalists. It was the first time I was shopping online.

I had ordered it on Flipkart along with a 10% discount with an Axis Bank card as the offer was due to festive season ( Holi ) .

Even though I had selected normal delivery , I received the smartphone in just 2 days.

The cash back also was duly received and hence , I had no problem with anything related to online shopping.
